VELOBOX is compatible with three technical roll materials: fiberglass veil, micro-perforated paper and fiber reinforcement mesh. Each material uses a dedicated adapter, supplied with VELOBOX.
The cutting blade is integrated into the plastic structure, produced from the same injection mould as the body. It cuts technical materials effectively but is safe for the operator — no risk of accidental skin cuts.
About 150 grams. The structure is made of impact-resistant plastic (ABS or polypropylene), designed to be ultra light and durable.
Entirely of impact-resistant plastic, produced by injection moulding. All components — including the cutting blade — are made in a single moulding cycle. No metal parts.
VELOBOX is designed around the standard 50 mm (≈2 inch) width fiberglass veil rolls used for drywall joints, such as the common 45 m × 50 mm format. The interchangeable adapters are matched to the standard roll format of each compatible material.
No. VELOBOX is fully mechanical: tape tension is generated passively by friction and the cut is made with the integrated plastic blade. There is nothing to charge, replace or maintain electrically.
VELOBOX is designed and manufactured in Italy. The body and all components are produced by injection moulding from impact-resistant plastic.
Yes, VELOBOX is designed specifically for one-handed use. Its ergonomic shape allows a natural, stable grip, ideal for work on ladders, scaffolding and ceilings.
The quick-open system uses a male-female coupling with elastic side supports. It opens with less than 1 kg of force, even while wearing work gloves. Changing the roll takes a few seconds.
Yes. The open-and-close system is designed to be used even with gloves. The force needed to open it is less than about 1 kg.
VELOBOX includes: the dispenser, 3 interchangeable adapters (one for each compatible material), an integrated belt hook and a user guide.
